I was pretty happy with the first article I wrote today about winter ziplining at Arbraska because I brought up the idea and it seems to me to be the sort of article we publish a lot of. So it felt good to send in my own idea and get to write about it.
The second one was a weekly update about the SPVM's COVID infractions, which I had done a piece about last week as well. While I was going through the news to find something to write about though, I had come across an article about a party in Mirabel that has been interrupted by police and that amassed almost $56 000 in fines. I tried calling the SPVM and the SQ in order to get a comment or confirmation from a primary source and include it in this week's article but couldn't get through, and then left a voicemail when I called the Mirabel police. They ended up answering me about an hour after the end of my shift, after i had published this article, so I was able to go back into the article and update it once I got the call.
