Today's work:
I realized this morning that I haven't written a piece about dessert or sweet foods in Montreal, so I started working on that after Instagram and TikTok searches that weren't very fruitful.
Once I was done with that, Ty proposed we look at gyms in orange zones to see how they're doing since re-opening. I contacted a bunch of places (emailed and called) in Drummondville, Sherbrooke, and a few other towns, but haven't gotten a response yet. Hopefully I get something by Friday!
And then when I looked on Twitter, I found a sort of debate over a New York Times article that had been published about California bagels being better than the ones from New York. New Yorkers were outraged, of course, but most of all, Montrealers came to add fuel to the debate and claim the Montreal bagel as the better one. It was a pretty funny little Internet argument, so I was able to write a short piece about it.
