I got started on a photo round-up today, which means I just went on Instagram and gathered a bunch of pictures that people have posted of the snowy landscape of Montreal. This was a lot of embedding photos, looking through hashtags, choosing pictures that looked nice, etc. These usually do well on the website because they're pieces people like to scroll through, so they can get two to three thousand views easily. This number kind of impressed me because I think it's when I saw this number that I realized how many people would be reading my articles.
The other piece I was assigned was a recap of the weekly number of COVID-related infractions, which the SPVM tweets every week on Monday. I wrote in the numbers from the week that just passed, and added some details about the application of curfew regulations.
